Glad you enjoyed the trip down memory lane. It's all true too, so that makes it even better. I left a few details out however. Like...the chick I was rushing to meet the night I got busted for drunk driving...I ran into her about a year later at the same bar. Things went a little better that night. We went to the 24-hour library and read Schopenhauer! ;)

Fact is that my Cutlass could have been restored relatively easily, but I was a twenty-something dumb-ass with no money. I'd give a testicle to have that car today...dents and all...it was better than the basket case '68 Chevelle I have in my garage right now.

Wanna buy it?Walter Zoomiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18439931516202804834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1842219268085231182.post-71821355606695158352012-04-07T03:08:58.174-04:002012-04-07T03:08:58.174-04:00Ah... Not that I can realistically have one. Because even if I could afford it, I doubt I'd have any place to store it. Reading your story caused me to laugh out loud at least three times. Ironically I just watch a show last night about HEART and the whole thing made me feel nostalgic and old. I miss good cars, good music, good people and to some extent my innocence. I grew up in Missouri in the late 60s /70s, early 80s. You might be a little older than me but I totally identify with you. I thought your post was hilarious, well written and love that you embedded images & video. Since this is from 2009 you may never see this, but in the off chance that you do...thank you for making my day. (DonutSprinkles@Yahoo)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
