I heard this today on the radio while truckin' in Ohio and damn near drove off the road with some of the things this "good" sheriff of Butler County, Ohio, Richard K. Jones, said.
I threw this video together real quick (in case the original audio got scrubbed) so that you could judge for yourself, and I would love to hear your opinions on this.
To be clear, I think Dorner was a whack-job looney tunes douche-bag, and I defend nothing he did, but the good sheriff of Butler County seems fine and dandy with being the judge, jury, and executioner, and I have a BIG fucking problem with his general attitude.
Listen to what he says and how he says it.
Amazing.
__________
Jones also apparently has a hard-on for obtaining surplus military gear for his department.
So...I guess it's not so amazing after all.
Peace officer? Bullshit.
Posse Comitatus? Fuck that.
What.A.Douche.
ReplyDeletePosse Comitatus was overturned in the 2007 Defense Authorization Act.
ReplyDeleteDrone strikes in CONUS or against US citizens anywhere are a very, very bad idea. The police shot up two vehicles that they thought MIGHT be this guy; two women were shot this way but survived; the other guy, who was not even the right color, did not get shot but got his vehicle shot to bits. Hellfire from a drone would not be survivable.
Also, firing the cabin was a bad idea; what if he had hostages in there? The guy had taken hostages before. Were police able to confirm that he had no one else in there with him? Why not wait him out? The guy wanted to go out in a blaze of glory; waiting him out would have made him an embarrassment and a nothing, better yet.
The other thing is that execution before trial is unconstitutional.
Maybe? Or Not? I'm so confused. Fucking lawyers...
DeleteOne thing's for sure, the cocksuckers will do whatever the fuck they want.
From Wiki:
Recent legislative events
In 2006, the Congress modified the Insurrection Act as part of the 2007 Defense Authorization Bill (repealed as of 2008).
On September 26, 2006, President Bush urged Congress to consider revising federal laws so that U.S. armed forces could restore public order and enforce laws in the aftermath of a natural disaster, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition.
These changes were included in the John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007 (H.R. 5122), which was signed into law on October 17, 2006.[5]
Section 1076 is titled "Use of the Armed Forces in major public emergencies." It provided that:
The President may employ the armed forces... to... restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition... the President determines that... domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order... or [to] suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy if such... a condition... so hinders the execution of the laws... that any part or class of its people is deprived of a right, privilege, immunity, or protection named in the Constitution and secured by law... or opposes or obstructs the execution of the laws of the United States or impedes the course of justice under those laws.[6]
In 2008, these changes in the Insurrection Act of 1807 were repealed in their entirety, reverting to the previous wording of the Insurrection Act[7] that in its original form was written to limit Presidential power as much as possible in the event of insurrection, rebellion, or lawlessness.
In 2011, U.S. President Barack Obama signed National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 into law. Section 1031, clause "b", article 2 defines a 'covered person', i.e., someone possibly subject to martial law, as the following: "A person who was a part of or substantially supported al-Qaeda, the Taliban, or associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States or its coalition partners, including any person who has committed a belligerent act or has directly supported such hostilities in aid of such enemy forces." [8]
I am confused, but not really. It is plain wrong for troops to fire on those they are to protect; it is like a sheep dog tearing into sheep.
ReplyDeleteI suppose your art might be considered a belligerent act, except for the vomit inducing one.
As for lawyers, if things get bad, any that come to my place for refuge will be cleaning out septic tanks with a spoon.
I'm going to repost this. Good grief.
ReplyDeleteRichard K. Jones...that statist motherfucker. I've recently just come across your blog, (your shit is epic) and I'm from England so my redcoat opinion doesn't really matter a fuck, but all the same I just wanted to say that the opinion honed by this jackbooted piece of shit seems to be becoming the norm in U.S. law enforcement and frankly it's scarier than the first fart after a bout of diarrhea. Drone strikes on U.S. citizens? Really?
ReplyDeleteI worry for my brothers and sisters across the pond, especially with enthusiastic miscreants like this masquerading with a badge and a gun. The radio hosts are no better and it raises so many questions...HOW, WHY, WHAT the actual FUCK.
Advice from this pussy whipped Queen slave? Stay strong, stick the fuck together and open your goddamned eyes, but most of all, RESIST. 'Cos we didn't, and we got turned the fuck over long ago while we were busy watching Dr. Who and drinking our fucking tea. ~TJ

Fuck me.
ReplyDeleteThis is probably the best comment I've ever received here. Thank you. You are welcome to comment any time.
Welcome, my limey friend, and you are...as your lot likes to say...spot on!
And yes...the two radio DJs are statist badge polishers and holster sniffers too. This pair pukes on the microphones every weekday during afternoon drive time, and they apparently have Facist Jones on air once a week.
This week Jones commented on police brutality and how "rare" it really is, and then he trotted out the worn out "cops just wanna go home at the end of their shift" meme.
It was nauseating.
Thank you my friend. I don't even really know where my little rant came from, but listening to that radio excerpt hit me like a brick through the windscreen. It's truly unbelievable what is happening with sections of government today and it just made me so fucking irate to hear that gov-gobbling Nazi spew his soul out with such ignorance that I felt compelled to jump in and have a voice. You could practically hear him having stategasm right there in his regulation pants.
ReplyDeleteIf you had not posted this, I would probably have not seen it, so THANK YOU, and please do keep them coming, brother. I'll be following your site earnestly from this point in. ~TJ
I have personally know Sheriff Jones for many years. There is no way he would use a drone if ANY innocent person where to be put in harms way. It was his way of being ademant (spelling) about how much grieve Dorner had caused. Sheriff Jones is a very caring person, but he won't back down when he's right.
DeleteAnd, just because you disagree with his statement, doesn't make him a bad person. This is only one statement he has made. I'll bet you have also agreed with everything your parents or children have said or done, I'm sure you wouldn't attack them like this.
But,it's your right to do so.
I'm sorry I just had to double-take as I thought you said that it was OK to drone bomb someone (U.S. citizens on U.S. soil) to death as long as they are not innocent. Are you really that fucking stupid or are you pulling my shrivelled up old chain? Please look at what you have just written and then have a really good think about your fucking CONSTITUTION and POSSE COMITATUS and what they both fundamentally explain.
DeleteThe fuss being made here is about the fact that drones (military ones last time I looked) are (at some point) probably going to be used on U.S. citizens on U.S. soil. Your admission to the fact that you think this treasonous face-stomper Jones is 'right' shows me that I'm talking to a complete and utter asshat who would wipe their crack in a second with the very pages that were written to defend U.S. citizens.
Innocent or guilty of anything, it matters not a flying fuck. I will say it again just so that it has the potential to sink into your dense cranial porridge. Drones are (at some point) probably going to be used on U.S. CITIZENS on U.S. soil. At least they have not denied it up until now.
Nice try bringing my family into this, however, my parents and children are A) not fucking Nazis and B) not fucking Nazis. So your argument is moot. My family have had a proper fucking education and they know their rights, and those precious rights (albeit worn pretty goddamned thin at this point) do not include the looming threat of being vaporised by a jarhead with a joystick sitting in Joint Base San Antonio.
I suggest you go and re-school your motherfucking self, (Google: POSSE COMITATUS, just in case you have forgotten those two valuable words whilst reading these last 3 paragraphs) then get a goddamned grip of your reality, but until you do, please refrain from procreating.
Fuck you very much. ~TJ
PS: I don't think you're in any position to tell others what their rights are when you don't even know the basis of your own.
Ha! AnonymousKunt just got bitch-slapped by a cat who understands what's going on and isn't even an American!
DeleteBuckeyes (Ohioans) are some pathetic motherfuckers. The two DJs above were bitching this week about how there are no decent-paying jobs and how utility rates are "necessarily skyrocketing" and how the average Joe can't make ends meet anymore.
...and how many Ohio coal-fired power generating stations are being shut down due to the criminal O'Vomit cabal and his global warming goons and their war on coal?
...and how is the dollar being debased by all the "quantitative easing" and bailouts?
Why does your dollar buy so much less? Why is gasoline so expensive? Why did that pipeline from Canada into the US get shit-canned?
Stupid bastards. YOU VOTED FOR THIS!
